How to handle Security and Defence Projects?
Information about the roundtable on European security organized by the Horizon Europe Community Austria
We would like to draw your attention to the roundtable on the topic “How to handle Defence projects”, organized by the Horizon Europe Community Austria, a community organized by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) that focuses on current societal challenges.
This also includes current questions regarding the European security architecture, which will be addressed through short presentations at the event. The main contents of these presentations will be the positioning of EU security and defence research funding, ethics in Horizon Europe and the European Defence Fund, as well as security regulations and their implementation in Austria. In addition, through open discussions and exchange of experiences among participants, the identification of open questions and further action will be on the agenda.
The roundtable will take place on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the “Haus der Forschung”, Sensengasse 1, 1090, Vienna.
Registration via email to sicherheit.eip@ffg.at is possible until Wednesday, March 22.
