On October 3rd and 4th, 2024, a prestigious symposium titled “The Evolution of Addiction Research” was held in Vienna to celebrate Dr. Alfred Uhl’s 70th birthday. The event brought together numerous experts and close colleagues of Dr. Uhl in the Banquet Hall of Sigmund Freud Private University, where they explored the key developments and ongoing challenges in addiction research.
