Our research cooperation partner, MaVida Park Velden, awards a research prize in the field of “Ageing research and/or dementia research” for all students of the Faculties of Psychotherapy Science, Psychology and Medicine at the Sigmund Freud Private University.

In 2023, the MaVida Research Prize for excellent student theses was awarded for the first time. From 2024, the prize will fund student research projects totalling 5,000 euros.

We look forward to receiving numerous applications from all SFU locations in Vienna, Linz, Berlin, Ljubljana, Milan and Paris. The submission deadline is 31 October 2024.

The prizes:

  • 3,000 euros for the 1st place
  • 1,500 euros for the 2nd place
  • 500 euros for the 3rd place

The following student-scientific projects with a focus on “ageing research and/or dementia research” can be submitted:

  • Student research projects started within the period 2024-2025 (also as part of a final thesis)
  • Publications of student articles in reviewed (at least Scopus-indexed) journals that will be published in 2024-2025 by 30 November 2025 at the latest or have received a decision to publish.
